:: delegation broomball events ::

The Culver Palms Family YMCA Delegation will announce our next Broomball fundraising event as soon as it is confirmed.

It will be held at the Culver City Ice Rink, 4545 So. Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City. The cost for broomball is $5.00 per participant and all are asked to bring your own broom. Y&G Code of Conduct is in affect for these events.

Our previous events have seen up to 100 people in attendance. The money raised was added to the CPY Y&G general fund and also individual scholarship fund helping to offset program fees.

What is Broomball? Quite simply described, for us, it's ice hockey with tennis shoes, a broom and a small ball. While we are merely out for a good time, there are actually professional Broomball leagues throughout the world, including Canadian, Australian, Russian, Swiss and the United States Broomball Association. On a more competitive level, the rules, equipment and attitudes are taken to another level.
